CBMS817: Plants: Cells and Molecules

The relationship between plant structure and function at the cell and molecular levels will be explored through studying topics such as plant cell structure, photosynthesis, translocation of photosynthate, respiration, assimilation of nutrients, plant defence, and plant development. Topical issues in plant science, including genetic manipulation and biotechnology, will also be explored.
