EPG816: Advanced Pedagogy
This unit seeks to enhance participants' ability to relate and apply the core principles underlying contemporary thinking about effective (K-12) pedagogy and quality teaching to their own teaching practices. Readings will focus on understanding contemporary models of authentic and productive pedagogy and quality teaching. Participants will use these models to review and develop one or more of their own sequences of lessons. This balance of theory and practice is intended to empower successful participants to further develop and advance their own pedagogy through continuing practice and/or study.
