GEOS875: Structural Petrology

Topics in this unit include interpretation of microstructures in terms of deformation mechanisms and mechanisms of solution, deposition and fluid-rock interaction during deformation; basic concepts on incremental strain and progressive deformation, with applications to sheared and multiply deformed rocks.
