The unit presents a set of frameworks for understanding the dynamics of knowledge-based businesses. The emphasis is on development and application of conceptual models that clarify patterns of industry evolution and market change, factors that influence industry structure and performance and the impact of industry life-cycles on the competitive environment, customer requirements and the entrepreneur's strategic options.
