ISS803: Economic and Resource Security

This unit examines how the international economy is not just maintained by market forces but is secured by the security apparatuses of states and international organisations. Security forces have always been concerned not just with the integrity of sovereign borders but also with economic and resource interests which lie outside the borders of state.
