ISS805: Arms Control and Disarmament

The Industrial Revolution has led to dramatic scientific and technological advances that have been used to create deadly weapons. As these weapons have proliferated, important efforts have been undertaken to destroy, control or prohibit them, generally at the international level. This unit examines these developments, focusing on each broad category of weapons.
