LING895: Writing in Professions and Organisations
This unit grounds the development of writing expertise in an understanding of the social, psychological and discursive processes involved in writing in professions and organisations, and across a range of writing modes. The unit explores the inner world of the writer and analyses the structures and strategies used by successful writers, and emphasises learning how to identify and manage the constraints and opportunities that shape the writing enterprise.
