LIT825: Seduction of Place: Reading World Cities

This unit explores the representation of a number of great European cities such as Rome, Venice and Paris in literature. Thematic guided walks will promote an understanding of how the city has been used, shaped and manipulated as a place of spectacle, memory and imagination.
