MATH800: Mathematics Research Project
This project is conducted with the supervisor who plans to supervise the higher degree thesis project, and is assessed by a research report at the conclusion of six months. This report includes a literature review, a research proposal, and some preliminary work in support of the project. The report is assessed by the supervisor and another staff member in a related research area within the department. A satisfactory grade (Cr equivalent) is required to qualify for a higher degree by research.
