PSY933: Research Proposal
In this unit students work with an individual supervisor to conduct a literature review of an area and arrive at a proposed research design for their thesis. The literature review will be between approximately 5,000 and 8,000 words. It is expected that the review forms the justification to the later research project. The topic chosen is intended to be related to some issue or problem in clinical psychology however the supervisor may be chosen from among any of the members of the psychology staff. The goals of the unit are to encourage review and consideration of background literature, to prepare a draft literature overview and proposed method, and to prepare an ethics submission.
