PSYC881: Psychological Assessment and Evaluation
This unit is designed to provide a forum for the discussion of issues to do with the assessment of intelligence and memory. The theories of intelligence and their application to the administration and interpretation of the WAIS-III and WISC-IV, the two most commonly used IQ tests will be discussed. In addition to written assessments, students will be required to assess a volunteer participant as part of the class assignment. Please note that half of the students will be required to test children (7-16 years) and half will be required to test adults.
