PSYC917: Research Proposal

In this unit students work with an individual supervisor to conduct a literature review of an area and arrive at a proposed research design for their thesis. The literature review will be between approximately 5,000 and 8,000 words. It would be expected that the review will form the justification and background to the later research project. The topic chosen is intended to be related to some issue or problem in counselling psychology; however the supervisor may be chosen from among any of the members of the psychology staff. Ethics approval needs to be obtained for the proposed project as part of the completion requirements for this unit.
