PSYN813: Recovery and Rehabilitation
This unit examines theories of recovery of function following brain damage. Various methods of intervention and remediation employed with the brain-damaged will be discussed, including general and directed stimulation, functional reorganisation, environmental manipulation, cognitive processing techniques, behavioural methods and cognitive-neuropsychological rehabilitation.
