PSYN822: Psychological Assessment II
The main aim of this unit is to build on the content of PSYN821 Psychological Assessment I by focusing on assessment of neuropsychological conditions and the selection of test batteries for particular conditions. For example: assessment of dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, sports-related concussion, and malingering. Full use of clinical case material and exposure to a wide range of tests is provided. Students are expected to research a particular battery and present the findings in class or at a workshop. Introduction to the MMPI-2 is also included.
