SCED817: Medical Imaging Physics

Life-saving medical imaging technologies have seen major advances in recent years. This unit explores the basic physical properties underpinning x-ray imaging, computerised tomography (CT), diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine technology, demonstrating the application and relevance of physics in the real world.
