Key concepts will be discussed in terms of their application to different policy issues in areas like health, education and the labour market. Key concepts discussed will include the use of quasi-markets, issues of inequality, commodification and consumerism, risk and globalisation, budgets, taxes and spending, and macro economic issues of labour supply, inflation and aggregate demand.
