TRAN824: Literary Translation

The unit explores the creativity, techniques and strategies involved in translating literary texts and their complex and multi-layer stylistic structure. Students will analyse the art of aesthetic translation and the ways stylistic and symbolic equivalents between the original literary work and the translation can be achieved.
