BCM206: Aboriginal Issues in Resource Development

This unit introduces students to a range of issues in resource development and environmental management that are relevant to indigenous community management. It provides an introduction to the discipline of geography and the practicalities of dealing with social and environmental changes affecting indigenous communities as a result of resource projects and tourism-based development activities. It equips students to contribute to community-based evaluation of and participation in such development activities.
