BIOL358: Physiology II
This unit considers the functioning of the cardiovascular, renal and respiratory systems in maintaining a constant environment within the body. Emphasis will be placed on the control mechanisms that regulate the activities of these body systems. We will also investigate how the individual systems interact to control blood pressure and internal pH and how the systems respond to the stress imposed by exercise. Practical classes make use of laboratory and clinical techniques.
