CBMS301: Technology Mini Project

Modern Biotechnology involves the use of many different types of technologies such as DNA transformation, product fermentation, protein separation, proteomics, genomics, computational biology and various applications of fluorescence. The technology mini-project will be carried out in the last year of the program. Students will select a technology/method, according to their personal interest, identify academic supervisor, and be trained. We have an impressive portfolio of biotechnology-related technologies and instrumentation in the research labs and companies on campus. This offering caters for student's personal interests and assists in stepping out into the workforce with some hands-on laboratory experience.
