CHIR301: Chiropractic Principles and Skills IIIA
This unit is an introduction to chiropractic spinal technique for the thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine. It builds upon the material learnt in the 100 and 200 level chiropractic skills units. Further development of psychomotor skill acquisition is an integral part of this unit. The hypotheses and scientific rationale supporting chiropractic and its procedures are examined. The unit builds on previous knowledge of biomechanics for the thoracic and lumbar regions covered in the 100 and 200 level units and explores how it relates to clinical application.
