COMP238: Numerical Computing

This unit is an introduction to numerical techniques and their applications. Besides an analysis of methods, their computer implementation will be studied for efficiency and stability.

Topics will include: interpolation, non-linear equations, systems of linear equations, curve fitting, integration, differential equations.
