DANC315: Choreography 1

Discover your own dance in a series of classes and workshops where students will experience and investigate the work of a variety of choreographers. Sydney based dance artists will share their creative techniques and processes with students who will continue to develop and refine their own creative capacities through the analysis of choreographic traditions and innovations. Styles will vary from Dance Theatre, to Improvisation, to Modern Dance to Hip Hop to Social Dance. Issues of 'performance' techniques, such as 'presence' and 'focus' will be researched. Flexible assessment protocols allow students to present performed and written assessments.
