ECH228: Child Development 3-8 Years: Approaches to Theory and Practice
This unit offers a critical overview of current theory and practice in the study of child development during the preschool and early school years. The cognitive, social/emotional, language and physical development of children aged 3-8 years is discussed. Particular attention is paid to the implications of research and theory for early childhood educators within the Australian social/cultural context.
