ECH426: Creativity and the Arts
This unit will enable students to explore creativity and its role in art making for both adults and children. Students will engage in an exploration of theory and research which relate to definitions of creativity and imagination. Cognitive, affective and imaginative aspects of creativity will be explored through forms of art relevant to early childhood. Seminars will also include practical, creative experiences in each of the art form areas - music and movement/dance, visual arts and drama.
