ECHP324: Early Childhood Reflective Practice 4
This unit enables students to develop the skills needed to undertake appropriate planning and programming for young children. It includes an examination of various approaches to curriculum decision making which can be applied to early childhood settings.
The field experience component requires students to take substantive responsibility for children during a three-week period of teaching in an early childhood setting. This practical experience is followed by a period of analysis and critical reflection. The field experience component requires a series of observation days and a block period of teaching in early childhood settings with young children.
