EDUC358: Aboriginal Education - Issues and Approaches
This unit is designed to develop students' knowledge and understanding of issues related to Aboriginal history, culture and identity within the context of the mainstream educational sector. Many of the issues will be introduced by Aboriginal people involved in education. Through their experiences and perspectives students will gain valuable insights into current policies and practices. In particular this unit focuses on developing effective strategies for the implementation of Aboriginal Studies and Aboriginal perspectives across the curriculum.
