ELEC260: Sensors and Actuators
This unit is core to the Instrumentation and Control Engineering specialisation of the Bachelor of Engineering, and will cover the underlying principles and limitations of common types of sensor and transducer (electrical, optical, mechanical, etc) and commonly used actuators (eg, small motors). Electrical circuits for sensing and actuator systems will be described, and the limitations and advantages of different approaches highlighted.
