ELEC309: Introduction to Electronic Design

This unit provides an introduction to electronic design and development procedures similar to those encountered in industry. It also provides familiarisation with tools and resources necessary for the unit ELEC310 Electronics Project.

The unit works through the stages of completing a specified project: identification of tasks and resources, design and simulation of a circuit, prototyping and debugging the design, layout and construction of a final circuit board, and planning and documentation of a project. The work must be organised around strict design and verification goals and deadlines, set out in advance.
