FRN378: French Research Option

Students enrolling in this unit are required to individually research a particular topic under the guidance of a staff member in the French Studies programme. They will have to produce a carefully articulated research paper of 6000 words in French or 8000 words in English. The research topic must be approved by the unit convenor, who will also determine the most appropriate supervisor for the project. Topics can be chosen amongst most fields of French culture: Language, Literature, History, Politics, Art, Education, Sport, social issues, etc...
