GMN311: Advanced German II
In GMN311, Advanced German II, students are provided with material to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as a proficient user of the German language with the help of authentic material from German-speaking countries. The class work in Advanced German I and II as well as the tasks set for independent study enable students to develop the level of complexity in speaking, listening, reading and writing German which is required for the "Zertifikat C1", the upper intermediate-level exam set by the Goethe-Institut. Students enrolled in GMN311 will have the opportunity to sit for the Zertifikat at the end of the year (November). This upper intermediate-level exam is conducted globally by the Goethe-Institut and provides students with a reliable indicator of German language skills which is recognised world-wide in business and education.
