HLTH132: Introductory Histology

This unit is designed for students from diverse backgrounds while being a core unit in the Chiropractic program. It builds upon HLTH107, taking the student even deeper into the complex and enigmatic structures of the cells and their organelles. Focusing on the understanding of basic cell and intracellular structures, with their internal, 3-dimensional arrangements and intercellular relationships, Histology is the cornerstone unit for any student interested in the new science of molecular biology, cloning and many of the new and deadly diseases which have their origin at a cellular level.
