HLTH307: Clinical Anatomy 3

This unit, which is conducted at Sydney University, builds on the basic anatomy already taught in earlier units. The gross anatomy of the head and neck is studied in depth, and discussion of relevant embryology is included. Topics of study include: musculoskeletal and neurovascular features of the head and neck; the eye, nose, paranasal sinuses, ear, oral cavity and throat; as well as the anatomy of olfaction, masticatory processes, taste, hearing and balance, swallowing and phonation. Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials and practical classes.
