ISYS301: Enterprise Systems Integration

ISYS301 aims to provide an understanding of how Information Systems can be integrated into the overall business layer of an organisation. The unit focuses on methods and techniques to enhance the alignment of information systems with business strategy, objectives and processes. Issues covered include process modelling, corporate modelling, workflow modelling, business-process re-engineering, enterprise resource planning, business-to-business integration and supply-chain management. Various technical approaches to tackling integration problems will be discussed.
