ITEC210: Special Topic in Information Technology 2A
The content and availability of this unit will vary subject to developments in the ICT discipline and the availability of particular (often industrially based) expertise. Special topic units present novel material of current interest and provide a context within which students may engage with emerging technologies and trends as they arise.
The unit may also take the form of a reading unit on a topic of particular interest to a number of students; the format in this scenario would involve weekly readings on a special topic, optional seminars on campus, and assessment through a literature review completed by each student.
