ITL204: Facets of Italy
This unit investigates the historical problem of national identity in Italy. A variety of written and audio-visual materials will provide students with an overview of core values and important historical events that have shaped modern Italy, including mass migration to Australia. The course aims to raise students' intercultural awareness by examining the complex issue of identity and migration and the emergence of new concepts of transnational and global identity.
