JPN195: Japanese In-Country Program

This unit consists of a small project component about Japan and three weeks of Japanese language and cultural study in Okinawa International University in Japan in July. Students will experience full immersion in a living language environment, and stay at Japanese homes for a weekend. Assessment will be based on several tasks including an essay, presentations and an oral examination. As places are limited, there will be screening interviews in March. Pre-requisite for this unit is JPN111 or equivalent experience in studying Japanese.
