LAW406: Business Organisations

The unit examines different forms of business organisation. Particular issues are looked at, such as the choice of organisation, the incorporation of companies, responsibility and accountability within the chosen form and minority rights. At all stages an attempt is made to evaluate the law in the light of social and policy issues, and to assess its effectiveness as an instrument of government regulation.
