MGK205: Intermediate Modern Greek I

This unit is designed for students who have completed the MGK101/102 sequence as well as those with HSC (or equivalent). Using a communicative approach the unit aims to systematize and further develop knowledge of the language in all areas such as aural comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Various grammatical and linguistic concepts will be initiated; the theoretical component of the unit will complemented with a study of selective texts in order for the students to acquire a better and reflective understanding of the structure of the language. The unit is offered on campus as well as externally.
