MUS203: Virtual Studio Music Technology

Building on the skills and techniques developed by students in MUS202, this unit addresses the audio functions of the virtual studio production. Recording practices, the virtual mixing desk, plug-ins, effects, and hardware peripherals are introduced. Conceptual and practical issues regarding this medium are be covered through lectures, study tutorials and practical workshops, resulting in the production of original audio works.
