MUS206: Intermediate Vocal Studies

Building on abilities and confidence acquired in MUS205, this unit aims to provide students with technical and stylistic fluency at an intermediate level of vocal study. In addition, the unit fosters the development of interpretive and performance skills appropriate to various contemporary music genres and allows students to develop specialisations in particular areas of contemporary singing such as Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Musical Theatre. This unit combines lectures/workshops and practical tutorials.
