MUS229: Studies in Rhythm

Through its exploration of universal rhythmic concepts, this unit will provide theoretical and practical skills to analyse and perform a range of rhythmic concepts drawn from West African, Indian, and contemporary popular music. These generic skills will be relevant and applicable to a wide range of contemporary musical styles and genres.
