MUS306: Musical Creativity and Vocal Performance

This unit enables students to pursue individual artistry and advanced performance skills through emphasising interpretive, creative and performance aspects of contemporary singing. Collaborative a cappella and individual performance projects will be supplemented with stagecraft, movement, song interpretation, song-writing and copyright workshops. The unit will culminate in a performance showcase of student works. Major supervised projects will run throughout the semester, including those with a compositional focus.
