PSY105: Introduction to Psychology II

This unit continues with the introduction to core areas of psychology commenced in PSY104. The program introduces the areas of social psychology, developmental psychology, cognition, animal behaviour, and learning. A further important aim of the unit is to provide students with first-hand experience conducting psychology experiments and to develop scientific report-writing technique.

Evening students will be able to download lectures as MP3 files via the PSY105 website but must attend practical sessions.

Either: admission to BPsych(Hons) or BA-Psychology/BSc-Psychology or BBA or BHRM

Or: an equivalent admission rank (or aggregate)

Or: for all continuing students 12cp and GPA of 2.50
