STAT271: Statistics I

This is a unit in statistical methods for the analysis of data in which attention is given to the theoretical structure underlying the techniques.

Topics covered include inference about one and two sample problems using normal theory and non-parametric methods, analysis of variance, multiple comparisons and regression.
