STAT321: Logistics and Project Management

This unit consists of two modules - Project Management, followed by Logistics.

In the study of Project management, topics include: Network Diagrams, Gantt Charts, Resource smoothing, Resource-limited Scheduling, CPM, PERT analysis and Time-cost Tradeoffs.

Logistics will include the following topics: Break-Even analysis, Supply Chain Management, Push and Pull Systems, Materials Management, JIR and MRP methods. Practical applications will be undertaken using Microsoft Project 2003.
